I read this on
http://www.facebook.com/JaeJoongFanPage. I do feel sorry for Jaejoong because this is indeed a very public humiliation.
I super enjoy reading yunjae.
I think it is very likely that Yunjae was real and i would be really happy if they are still togehter.
Without a doubt, these shenanigans were negative for Jae's image. I personally think people shouldn't judge others based on their sexual preferences, and i have wonderful gay friends, but we have to accept the fact that Asia is a rather homophobic continent. If you are a fan, a jaejoong fan, a yunho fan, a jyj fan or a tvxq fan, you should know that "outing" them can only harm their image. Just look at the porno poster , no wonder some parents are disallowing their kids from following these idols. I like the poster (link at end of post), within the confines of LJ fan communities, and for my personal consumption, not hung up at the fan meeting site where the whole world can see it.
When i first read that in Bangkok, the oganizer announced that fans wearing shirts from other bands unrelated to JYJ will not be allowed up on stage (also those holding light sticks, banners, or towels unrelated to JYJ/Jaejoong), I thought, that was pretty high handed of them.. now I realize the reason… they were just trying to prevent a repeat of the Nanjing incident.
Haiz…….. poor jaejoong
[FAN ACCOUNTS] Unpleasant Incidents at Kim Jaejoong Fanmeeting in Nanjing and Thailand 2012
Kim Jaejoong Fanmeeting in Nanjing
OMG I didn’t know I missed so much drama caused by YJS in Nanjing.
Where to begin… In addition to all the standard shit they did they hang a giant photoshopped YJ porn poster outside of the venue [PHOTO] which was seen by a lot of the crowd who went to see a major soccer match next door- there were 70000 soccer fans there that night.
The poster got on one of the major Nanjing newspaper the next day, and Jae became a laughing stock in the male dominated sports forums. A lot of pple are saying he’s gxx and disgustingly feminine, and there were many fans’ family were around the venue, some saw the posters and forbade their daughter to fangirl such idol going forward.
some YJS actually went as far as using this opportunity to reply in these forums and said yes Jae is gxx, and all his possessions were gifts from his hubby. I was so furious when I read about this in Baidu JJ bar, but now I feel so tired.
Oh and, they found out it was two YJS working with the promoter that delayed the ticket release until the last minute as they worked to increase no. of seats occupied by YJS and OT5ers while limiting the no of seats taken by Jae fans.
They even forced Jae to sign 100 autographs before they would “allow” him to pass the custom. These autographs were being sold online later. Then, to top it off some of them hired taxis and chased after Jae, waiving their YJ light signs in his face, caused a minor accident, then got of the car and engaged in physical fight in front of him. Hahahaha. This is so ridiculous it’s funny.
They also hid the lottery box where you put your ticket stubs. The B section (green ocean side) fans were asking staff where the box was and staff didn’t know/couldn’t find it and later, when JJ picked ticket stubs from the lottery box, only people from A section (the red ocean side) were chosen. Jae tried to get fans from B section but he couldn’t and even apologized to the fans T.T He shouldn’t be the one who has to apologize. What those “fans” did is really a disgrace.

Kim Jaejoong Fanmeeting in Thailand
Note: I woke up feeling like I need to share with the world what I witnessed at the fanmeeting. I’ve written another fan account filled to the brim with wonderful memories I had while neglecting to mention certain inappropriate things that actually happened - I will do so right here. I’ll stick to the facts (between ** and **) in the first part while adding my personal comments later on.
**
Incident No. 1: Shouting that Yunho is Jaejoong’s boyfriend
- This happened before the fanmeeting actually began. It was when fans started lining up to go inside the hall. There were booths that were set up outside - some selling contact lens, a small coffee shop and a booth for drinking water. Each booth has its own MCs to draw in customers. A male-female couple was MCing for the drinking water booth called “Chang Water”.
At one point, the male MC asked the fans “Does Jaejoong have someone special? (literally the word “girlfriend/boyfriend” - that word in Thai does not specify which sex it would be)”. A lot of the fans in the hall shouted “Yes!”. MC continued to ask “Who?” - Fans replied loudly “Yunho” while screaming and giggling. MC kept on asking “Which band is he a member of?”. A lot of people resoundingly answered “TVXQ”.
Incident No. 2: A Yunjae fan
- A few moments after the fanmeeting had officially started and we all settled in our seats, some people in the A2 zone (in the 4th or 5th row if I’m not mistaken) began pulling out their fans (a chinese-looking ones that when collapsed you can’t actually see what’s written on them). They opened those up. The fans were quite big ones in red with gold letters in Korean that read “Yunjae”. They waved those big fans throughout the fanmeeting.
Incident No. 3: Have you ridden a bear?
- This happened during a simple fan Q&A. This question was: Did Jaejoong get a chance to ride on an elephant? Jaejoong answered “No, I haven’t. However, I did ride on a horse and a camel”. Certain group of fans yelled up on stage for the MC to ask “Have you ridden a bear?” and began giggling. The MC did ask that question. When the translator translated for him, Jaejoong shook his head and answered “No, I haven’t”
Incident No. 4: Shooting Yunjae during break time
- It was right after a short clip from Protect the Boss and Dr. Jin was played on screen. The clip had ended and everyone went silent for a while because the light was still dimmed. Suddenly someone started shouting loudly “Yunjae!”, so some other began yelling “Kim Jaejoong” just as loud.

Seriously, people…. I’m beyond appalled. The incident No.1 happened right after the organizer had just announced that fans who were wearing shirts from other bands unrelated to JYJ will not be allowed up on stage if chosen as a lucky fan. Why haven’t you learned what’s appropriate or not?
Incident No.3 was not a big deal, but it was obviously filled with ill intention. After the fanmeeting ended, someone tweeted to the MC asking if he knew the underlying innuendo of the “bear” question or not. MC tweeted back “I just played dumb. Otherwise, I’ll get in trouble for asking”. (source:

I’m sad these things happened at what-could-have-been-an-absolutely-perfect fanmeeting. I always consider myself quite a mature fan. I’ve never harassed shippers or OT5. Their choices and opinions were theirs and I’m not going to cross the line and tell them what to think or feel. This, however, was sheer public humiliation and the world needs to know of their inappropriate behaviors. This was all I could recall. There might be more, but I’m glad I wasn’t around to witness them.
