Amnesty International is organising an International Day of Action on Saturday 6th October - meet at 12pm in the Upper Octagon, preferably wearing red (or wear a red arm/head/wristband that can be taken off and tied to landmarks such as bridges, statues etc.) It's to try and keep the pressure on the Myanmar authorities to stop the violence towards demonstrators and to release thousands of detainees and prisoners of conscience.
