021// WIP+Help?
Okay I had wanted to avoid putting in a detailed background *or any background* for this particular picture, because the original idea for it was just a darkened sky, but the more I tried to work that out, the worse it looked, so I tried to do a background after bothering Alice several times, and looking at some bg tutorials.
Results so far:
Red lines are supposed to help give me an idea of perspective as well as distance/depth. I didn't do it right..so I still might fix that fucking grass. Grass takes forever. Boo.
Umm, so this is what it looks like without the grid.
And these are the same colors from before. Any suggestions on that too? Her skin/eye/hair color or set, and I'd LIKE to keep the helmet "mohawk" bright pink, but if that's an awful idea, don't be afraid to say so and suggest something that might work better.
I basically need more work to put in a portfolio. I haven't put up my portfolio site yet because..I'm not exceptionally proud of any work I've done thus far in my life, so I really want to do well on this piece.
