Man, I need more icons of my own art. 3 simply will not do.
First sketch on paper after a few months. Umm let's see. The guy with the green in his hair is a really crappy fanart doodle of Abel, from Starfighter. Sexy mansex comic with sexy men fighting alien invaders..and each other. One day I will properly draw some fanart for it, because it so deserves some proper fanart.
Lyov is at the bottom with the auburn hair. In the heart are Juniper and Dea from Two Rooks. Alice says Dea is always eating heads since his conception. I must have seen some picture of that and copied it if that is the case.
The half face at the very bottom is Mike. Still working out the kinks in his design. Really like the nose. And his eye is more intense, which is what I"m going for man.
Juniper from the top right corner. He deserves his own little place, because he is basically my favorite character ever and obviously the most awesome. Also from Two Rooks.
Lyov and Dea.
Alice finished a big chunk of work involving the printing/editing process of her comic (Two Rooks) so I drew her a little picture as a reward. Lyov loves Deatoura (and Juniper, but I was listening to Iris, which is a DeaLy song and not a JuniDeaLy song, so I only drew the red-heads).
Eanid. A recycled character. I don't have an older picture of him, but I basically gave him a haircut and updated his look to my style. The twin brother of Aers. He'd be a "demon". That junk coming out of his back is his wing formation. It would shoot out like liquid until the shape of the wing formed. I dunno. And that in his hand is a soul. Why? I don't even know. I get random ideas just because I draw things.
Ylena..name probably will be changed. A character concept for my (hopefully) to-be one day comic, The Fancies. Basically she is a sad product of the latest hipster trend in the future, genetic splicing. Sadly, the trend backfires when the splicing causes some subjects to lash out in really violent ways, so the people with these new bodies are pretty much chastised. "Ylena" would be one of the nicer variety who has to deal with being treated poorly/violently. The price you pay for popularity. She has a big scar on her left cheek and her antler has been broken off. Her slightly stupid friend gave her a spork to put on the end.
Characters from a story I will probably never do, because it involves angels and demons. There are two reasons I wouldn't currently do this type of project.
1. I can't draw wings perfectly. I draw them in different ways all the time, and for the most part, they don't look too hot. If I can not master the art of wings, I will never do any comic that has them on anything aside from birds.
2. I don't know anything about Angel hierarchy. I would be changing it around anyway for my own purposes, but I would at least like a general idea of religion's concept of angels and stuff.
That won't stop me from coming up with ideas. I can't seem to not give random characters back stories. Ariadne and Aers are recycled though. They look entirely different from the original concepts a few years ago. I like drawing men more manly these days...though I still kind of..don't. D: I'm trying. Magazine is the only character I just thought up with the new drawing. I like her already. I think she is a prostitute. That or some other shady business she's involved with!
