Job Search, Engagement, & Fertility

So much has happened since my last post. . . where to begin. . .

I totally got off track with Weight Watchers starting back on Mother's Day when I met my future mother-in-law. SUPER Stress! Things went downhill from there.

My job became rocky starting mid-May when my sales dropped to 1/2 my quota starting in the first two weeks (I'm in sales). They didn't improve that much either. In June my sales dropped to 75% of quota - an increase but still not good enough. I made my numbers Q1, but my company has no sympathy. At the beginning of July I was told I have to do a certain amount of activity (I've been run ragged, working late into the night and on weekends just to keep up) but the bottom line is I must basically make quota - if I don't this month, I will be terminated - they've taken me to HR to get this all approved. UCK! So on top of the stress and the busy work schedule, I must now also job search. My life has been too topsy-turvy to keep up with my email, etc. let alone LJ.

On the GOOD news front, I've got two things:

Engagement - My boyfriend and I have been seriously talking marriage, but we didn't make it official until July. He took me to Snoqualmie Falls and proposed "Twin Peaks" style. He had the theme music playing as we were overlooking the falls from the gazebo (I was so lucky I didn't drop the ring!) and afterwards we went for cherry pie at the RR cafe. It was so cool. We're going to be "eloping" to the Star Trek Experience in Vegas in early September - so I've got crunch time as far as wedding planning goes. Hehe. But its "good" stress. :-)

Fertility - I went to my endocrinologist recently. (Last time I posted about infertility and my "evil" gynecologist I got many people telling me to see an endocrinologist instead, especially because of my Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). I told him about my upcoming plans for the wedding and how we're going to try to get pregnant right away. He adjusted my meds so that will be easier for us AND he told me my PCOS is under control - he believes I should have NO problem getting pregnant. YAY! And this comes from a doctor I totally trust.

Needless to say my weight is TOTALLY up and I'll have to adjust my tickers when I go back on WW. The awesome thing is that my fiance TOTALLY rocks. He wants to join WW with me to support me in my weight loss efforts - not because he needs it, because he's only very slightly overweight. He wants us both to live the lifestyle and have a healthy Weight Watchers home to raise our kids in.

Wish me luck (with job hunting, fertility, and getting back on track with WW)!
