Anyone up for an unofficial October Writing month?
Guys, I've been trying to contact the mods and have been unable to, so at this point I'm assuming they're probably sadly but understandably too busy with real-life to think about the October Writing comm this year.
I really want to participate anyway; I have some stories planned that I was going to start writing and posting in October. And since I was planning them for this comm and challenge, I want to post them here, even without the comm opening officially.
Would anyone else be interested in hopping onboard an unofficial October Writing challenge for 2014? :) I don't think I'd have the time or patience to do final stats for everyone like our wonderful mods did, but the fun challenge of writing ten short stories of 1,000 words or more and one longer, 6,000 words or more Halloween fic in October would be the same. And if there's interest, I'll come up with an overarching theme for the month (or take suggestions, if you have any!) and a secondary theme for the longer, Halloween fic, as per the mods' concept for the challenge.
