lunar eclipse
Aim covo with Tiff (paraphrased):
Me: I think I hear a fire alarm... sounds like it's coming from main campus
Tiff: It would be so bad if the fire alarm went off in here in Brookside while everyone's studying for midterms
Me: I sort of want to go outside though. I need a break, it's hot in here, and I want to see where the moon is going to be for the lunar eclipse tonight...
TIff: You should pull the fire alarm!
... 30 minutes later, Krystin and I decide to go outside to find the moon and see if the lunar eclipse has started. 5 seconds after we get outside, the fire alarm goes off, and everyone comes out of the building -- and no, I did not pull the alarm :P. I had my camera with me, just in case we found the moon (which we didn't, we were looking north instead of east)...
Anyways, it was all a fire drill... I wonder who thought scheduling a fire drill during midterms week was a good idea.
We did eventually see the lunar eclipse :]
Krystin, Linda, and I were the first outside for a while, then Clement came out and joined us, and Erin and Nancy came out... and then a couple of first years.
I thought this picture was cool. A lot of my pictures were blurry until Erin let me use her tripod :D
Me and Krystin... the circular blob at the top of the picture is the moon. It's almost completely eclipsed!
