Practice Practice Practice
Ok, so since I'm currently feeling uncomfortable re: wc and pictures of The Alex and the strangers who could see him and find him, I'm going to try to figure out this whole LJ thing. I'm not saying I'm ready to move here yet, but I think it's something to consider. It occurs to me that it really wouldn't be that hard to find out where we live and that there are, indeed, freaky bad people out there and I wouldn't want the freaky bad people to touch my life.
So let's start with a list of things I need to figure out (I do love me some lists)
1) What is the difference between "private" and "friends" re: security?
2) Ok, I think I know how to bold and italicize so let's see how that works...
3) Pictures - how do I post pictures? I think I remember someone saying they had to be from photobucket not shutterfly... really? I don't know how photobucket works (crap, I know I joined and put in a few pictures, of course i don't remember what my password was or anything). I tried playing with photobucket and was totally overwhelmed by the need to size things. Guess I've got to figure out how that works too since the main point of this journal is to post pictures.
Hmmm... guess that's all I can think of for the moment - pesky co-workers distracted me and made me think about work so I got distracted. I need to think about this more...
