2011 in review.
1. What did you do in 2011 that you'd never done before?
I was in an Amanda Tapping/Christopher Heyerdahl sandwich? But more seriously ...I stayed single the entire year and focused on myself and paid for THREE classes of college.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't usually make resolutions.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not close to me. Erica's best friend did though!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No. Thank god.
5. What countries did you visit?
Just this one!
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
I think a girlfriend in 2012 would be nice. I'm ready for it. ALSO, I'll have a degree in 2012! HOLY SHIT.
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
September 3, 2011! Saturday at Dragon*Con. BEST. DAY. EVER. Also, my birthday party this year was flippin' fantastic! JULY 1, 2011!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Working my ass off to save for school and managing to save enough for THREE classes.
9. What was your biggest failure?
My biggest failure was losing my job. Yeah it was good for my health to get out of there, but it's never good to be unemployed.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
YES. August 2, 2011 was when it started. It's still going, but it's not even close to being what it was.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Off the top of my head? My plane ticket to see dunhammed & inperfectpeace in Florida. One of the best weeks of my life. ♥
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
MICHELLE! she needs a livejournal.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
The list is too long.
14. Where did most of your money go?
SCHOOl. and to Delta for plane tickets. ;)
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
FLORIDA IN APRIL, STARTING MY CLASSES, and DRAGON*CON. Meeting Amanda Tapping again and actually talking to her and hugging her. :))))))))))))))))))))))))))
16. What song will always remind you of 2011?
"Someone Like You" by Adele and "Faster" by Within Temptation and "Lost in Paradise" by Evanescence
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? about the same :)
ii. thinner or fatter? MUCH thinner. 30 lbs!
iii. richer or poorer? much, much poorer seeing as I have no job. :\ but that's okay!
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Exercising, reading, writing in my livejournal!
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
WORRYING.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
Already spent it. At my dad's with my whole family. :)
21. Did you fall in love in 2011?
Hmmmm. Hard question to answer. Technically? Nope.
22. How many one-night stands?
None.
23. What was your favourite TV programme?
SANCTUARY. Stargate SG-1, Fringe, Farscape and here at the end The Closer!
24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I don't hate people.
25. What was the best book you read?
No books. Only fanfiction. :)
26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
ADELE! I spent months listening only to her "21" cd!
27. What did you want and get?
A hug from Amanda Tapping and Christopher Heyerdahl! and lots of autographs. Life of a fangirl.
28. What was your favourite film of this year?
Harry Potter!
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
My family threw me the BEST birthday party ever at my house! and I turned 31!
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
I think having my heart open again for love would have been nice. :)
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
Ummm. I don't do fashion. Just jeans and a regular shirt thanks.
32. What kept you sane?
MY FRIENDS. Especially skype times with ladydeadlock001.
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Amanda Tapping! Always.
34. What political issue stirred you the most?
All of the gay rights/marriage stuff.
35. Who did you miss?
A few of my friends.
36. Who was the best new person you met?
MICHELLE AND HEATHER! :) :)
37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2011:
I learned how to be happy with being alone and doing things for myself and by myself.

Sanctuary! and Stargate SG-1!

I really can't remember. I did see a lot of movies this year.

The only full book I read was "Wizard of Oz".

21 by Adele, The Unforgiving by Within Temptation, and Evanescence by Evanescence

Always Sanctuary, but I'm also going with FRINGE and FARSCAPE and THE CLOSER

FARSCAPE and FRINGE
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
The fact that some fandoms are filled with fucking idiots. :)

I'd say Jack O'Neill, obviously but I think John Crichton is up there this year. ;)

Helen Magnus! and Olivia Dunham
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
BEING SQUISHED BETWEEN AMANDA TAPPING AND CHRISTOPHER HEYERDAHL. and the fact that I spoke to both of them without freaking out! :)
The most missed of your old fandoms?
X-FILES. I miss it so much.
The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
I'd like to try Doctor Who again and Torchwood.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
If my money/school/job permits, I have to do Dragon*Con again! Besides that just more flailing with my girls. :)
