1440x900 Hmm. I compared them to leaves because if you think about it, they're in the second half of their life and as depressing as it is, they're on their way out soon. And so they ARE fallen, tired, breaking, and dry, and they want that one last shot at life and love before it's over and the seasons change (if we're following the metaphor). The "I had you back in May" bit is a reference to them having each other back when they were "Mays" - in college, just out of college, whenever. We know they had each other and we know it was years ago. So... ksjhfsa I'm having such a hard time explaining what I mean with these words. I really hope you get it. They want to go out of life and love the way they went in - with each other. And I'm sorry this is kind of a sad piece - it's just what came out. I LOVE THESE GUYS SO MUCH RIGHT NOW, GOD. And they DO still rhyme - the thing that they have/had between them just doesn't die. It just doesn't. It reminds me of The Notebook - "It wasn't over - It STILL isn't over!!" LOL I need to shut up now.
