Title: What It's Worth
Rating: PG
Pairing: Taguchi Junnosuke/Kamenashi Kazuya
Word Count: 389
Summary: Kame wakes up and it's bliss.
Author's Notes: I wrote this awhile ago for ky_rin; just getting to posting it now. I don't even remember what it was for. XD;

The first thing Kame feels when he wakes up are the fingers petting his hair.

He doesn't like to make it known, but he absolutely loves that, the feeling of someone running their fingers through his hair, playing with it, smoothing it down, the gently pressure massaging his scalp. It makes him feel warm and fuzzy and safe and content, and more often that not, he wishes that he didn't have to get out of bed and go to work. These mornings, though, mornings of warm embraces and rough voices from sleep and bed hair pushes him on.

Kame purrs; there's a slight chuckle coming from above his ear, but that's all. Kame doesn't think much of it and goes back to bed. They still have an hour before they absolutely need to get up.

He tries not to let too many of his emotions show when they're at the jimusho. Kame is a firm believer that work should stay at work and private lives should remain private, so he tries not to give off the impression that he's hopelessly infatuated with KAT-TUN's resident dork. He succeeds for the most part; there are always a few glances that linger longer than necessary, but Kame's a pro and he catches himself and turns in time. No one says anything. Actually, Junno probably doesn't even realize it himself.

They wake up fifteen minutes before they're due at the studio. Junno scrambles out of bed first, and Kame is already cold.

"You look tired," Junno comments, resting his head against Kame's arm as they lounge on the couch.

"I'm okay," Kame replies. Junno's never convinced.

"You should take a nap. I'll wake you up when they call for us."

"Really, I'm fine," Kame says, though without conviction because Junno's fingers are doing that again, and he can already feel himself snuggling closer, leaning against Junno's side as his eyes start to drift shut. He ignores Jin's comment about Junno 'taming the beast' and just let's it go. For now.

He doesn't fall asleep since the dressing room is too loud for him to be able to, but the rhythmic sounds of Junno's breath and heartbeat is soothing nonetheless; he relishes in it for the time that he can, because once they're called for, it'll be hours before he can remind himself why all of this is worth it to begin with.
