A-House Divided
So these days I am neck deep into doctoral student life, but finally made time to see Civil War. I feel like I just sat through the Marvel Edition of Jason Bourne. Obviously I loved it and spent most of the movie equal parts:
And have to get it all out somewhere: T'Challa's suit!! Becoming Vengeance!!! ScarJo taking on those 3 dudes in the market place. I even liked Clint showing up. That fight scene in the stairwell with the cinder block and the stair railing. The Soviet trigger words! Cap's crying face at Peggy's funeral. The VW bug with Chris Evans'; huge man body unfolding out of it. All the quiet little moments where Cap and Bucky fall into step with each other. When they fight together they fall into position automatically, 70 years later. Those sad prison cells. Bucky's sad resigned face. So many motorcycles destroyed! Tony grabbing Steve's collar and asking if he knew. That opening scene. I thought he was going to kill him. ajgehsjkdfgh
