Don't know if anyone is still out there but just a quick update. nthcoincident has informed me I must get back on the fandom horse.
1. Life updates blah blah. I received a research fellowship for the summer to work on a particular bat-borne virus (exciting!). Am having a summer fling with a paleontologist, and there are not as many boner jokes as you'd imagine. Flew back to the West Coast last week to attend a wedding and party with bellicosus and have been very homesick now that I've returned East. I can do an ombre manicure all by myself! Also have been mainlining Ugly Betty; this show needs more gif-sets people.
2. (Webcomic) Spacejinx!:
All space cadet Benedict Young wants is a jetbike. Instead, he ends up with an unregistered android. The future ain't always so bright!
This is my favorite little webcomic on the net (except some comic called "Evel&Dootie" that disappeared circa 2005). Teahouse and Starfighter are also excellent, but Spacejinx is the perfect mix of humor, sexy, and plotty to cheer me up at the end of the week. Nothing is taken too seriously and the 3 main characters have a cute, well thought-out dynamic. I'm continually surprised that it's not recommended more often. Enjoy!
