This story is sparse, humorous and as goldilocks said "just right". This story dissociates from the magnitude of potential WWIII and tones itself down to just the basics, and in this way I think gets the chemistry of Charles and Erik just right. Hijinks of growing adolescents, the insecurity one feels when falling in love, moments in the life of the Xavier Household some tender some not.

The title really says it all. A Master. Brings together Charles's arrogance, the tricky business of mental suggestion, homosexuality in the 60's. Erik is dark, brutal and gorgeous in this.
