Signs that the world is ending.
1) I was right about something.
Waaay back last year I speculated that after the Virgin Megastore in Time Square closed, Disney would swoop in and take over the space. Well, according to the Disney Blog, this is what's happening. I was sad to know that the World of Disney had closed, but I hadn't really bought too much from them aside from a few pins. Apparently, this is going to launch a retooling of the Disney Store in general.
2) Disney Comic are coming out that I'm really interested in.
What with BOOM! Studios taking over the Disney Comics line, they've been publishing things like Ultraheroes and Wizards of Mickey, both of which are getting their own series so now Mickey Mouse & Friends are going to start publishing the Mickey X series, I think. While I still highly doubt that the Mickey Mouse Mystery Magazine will ever see the light of day on these shores, it does make me think that it's not as improbable as I once though it was.
3) I'm actually taking care of myself.
I've actually been exercising almost every day for the most part. My weight still fluctuates between 181 and 191. I binge eat sometimes because I can't seem to get full, probably something I should stop doing. I've been also snacking a little healthier with pickled carrots and rice cakes, although the Dulce de Leche is probably not a good thing to spread on top of a rice cracker.
4) My electronics appear to be working properly.
Well, my laptop anyway. I was having an issue with the laptop crashing after an hour or two, but after some screaming and a virus scan my laptop seems to be working okay again. I was really scared that I would lose all of my data, but that isn't the case and I'm going to start backing up my data regularly from now on.
So all in all my life has been pretty okay and I'm pretty happy, which means some kind of natural disaster is going to wipe out all life as we know it.
