PSP Emergency!
Not really. I just felt like using that battle cry from Power Rangers SPD for this entry. I've started Birth By Sleep on Proud Mode since I don't want to do any of the mini-games to get the secret movie, but, as I suspected, the game is has started to kick my ass and I barely landed on the first world. This does not bode well. I think having the rumble when my character is hit has become an expected sensory input since I honestly could not tell when I was being creamed. Of course, trying to play as Aqua in the beginning already told that I am a subtlety-less gamer. Guess that's something I'm going to need to work on.
I also tried reading a comic on my PSP since I had to upgrade to the latest firmware anyway. I'm... not enthused about it. Sure, it would be nice to have my comics wherever I go, but in order to read the damn things I have to zoom in and the narrative gets hijacked by the PSP if I want the optimal viewing. And there are sound effects. That's... just weird. If the comics could be viewed more like a regular comic I'd be a lot happier. As it stands, this is the only way to see X-Mickey in English. Guess I'll have to ask Boom! if they'll print the series in the states or will I be force to buy them on the PSP. They're not cheap either. A comic is $1.99 a pop.
