A/N: I've been planning to write a sequel of When it rains since last month. But I lost my mojo. Then, when I wrote this yesterday, the original plan was to make this a juntoshi fic for jheili, but I dunno. I thought of Ohmiya and I suddenly thought of Miss jade_lil and this turned out to be an Ohmiya happily ever after. LOL! I hope you like it guys! And thank you dearie coolohoh for the title! <3 <3 <3

"We have to do something. Anything! We have to make him stop." Jun almost whispered the last sentence. He kept on touching his favorite over-sized skull ring, eyes never leaving the floor.

"I'm worried about Ohchan. I know he's in pain. I-I couldn't.. Nino? What are we going to do? He won't talk to us." Aiba sobbed.

I could feel both pair of eyes on me but still my thumbs were fumbling on my DS. I couldn't really care less. I didn't answer them. Then I heard Jun let out a frustrated groan.

"Nino, can you please set aside your stupid game for once and help us?" Jun stood up and swatted my game away from my hands. The thing flew and hit the door of the shower room. I got up, pissed as hell. I was on the boss level. I looked straight into Jun's mad, tired eyes.

"You know what we should do? Let the old man rot in his misery." And a fist landed on my face.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Woooh! That's a relief!" Sho stretched his limbs one by one. And looked at me with that wonderful chipmunk smile.

"I guess you just want to be alone with me. Come Sho-chan, no need to be shy." I smirked and he laughed heartily.

"You know Nino, you're right. I'd rather spend the day with you alone than with all the staff." The smile never left his face and he squeezed my shoulder. I wondered what this man was thinking.

"Aww.. too bad. I'm spending my day with the old man."

"Now what? You'd rather spend a day in the sea than at my place playing games, eating hamburger and playing more games? You know, if I didn't know better I'd assume you got the hots for Satoshi." His eyebrow arched in amusement and I shrugged.

"I agreed on fishing alright. But who said anything about actually being on sea and fish?" I dug out something in my bag and showed it to him. He laughed so hard he turned pink.

"I hope Satoshi is up for 'Adventure Fishing 3D'"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I'm sorry, but I'm not sorry for hitting you the other day." Aiba handed me an ice pack. The bruise was still pretty fresh. The bluish-purple mark just right on the corner of my mouth was too bright not to notice.

"Thanks for the beauty mark Aiba-shi. I feel beautiful and awful at the same time."

"Serves you right though."

"I know. I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry to me. Tell that to Ohchan and Shochan."

"Now that is something. Apologize to someone who doesn't even care and is caught up in his misery, and to someone who is already dead."

"Atleast you did. It might help Ohchan, and it might help you."

And Aiba left the green room.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"For someone who is lying here all day, puking and waiting to be bald, you sure are bubbly. Too bubbly it's scary."

And Sho threw another fit of giggles. I threw my head on the backrest of the chair and smiled unconciously.

"Somehow, the prospect of becoming bald amuses and appeals me. I think I'll look good."

"Yea. You'll look like a freshly shaved chipmunk." And he burst out again. When he finished, there were tears in the corner of his eyes. There was a peaceful silence. The rain knocking on his window was no longer there, but a warm ray of sunshine seeped in the room.

"Nino, do you know why it rains?"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I tried to talk to him. But he just cuts me off. I tried to approach him, to distract him. But whatever I do, he just sinks in his world. I don't know what to do anymore." Jun sighed, defeated.

"He won't talk to me either. He told me to get off his back. And Jun-chan, he knows that you told me to check up on him." Aiba and his puffy eyes were threatening to break down again.

"This is getting out of hand. He often talks to his phone, murmurming his name. He is sinking deeper. We have to do something." Jun bit his lower lip and it's obvious he was shaken as well.

"You're too weak when it comes to him. When will you realize that he won't listen to you cause you're not Sho. We lost someone too, We have to move on, Sho's family should move on, he should move on, and J, you need to move on too." Jun's head snapped. He looked at me, frightened, mad, but there was a hint of concern in his eyes. He relaxed and a bitter smile was plastered on his face.

"That's the thing. I'm weak against him that I can't do anything. But he's a prisoner of his own universe Nino, the one he created, the one he purely believe is true. The one where Sho is the center of his universe and being. He's invisible there. I can't touch him, I can't talk to him, I can't see him anymore. He's slowly fading. And you know what?" Jun slowly got up from his chair and looked at the mirror.

"You also created a universe, where we can't reach you. You're just like him."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Do you like my new wig?" Sho beamed at me. Running his hand on his head, where once his soft, chocolate locks were.

"Nice wig Baldie! It looks natural! Better effect than being a real bald old man. I approved." He chuckled and his laughter surrounded the white suffocating room.

"I think, with this, tons of historical drama and films will be offered to me!"

"Too bad, they can't use an old bald, sickly man who pukes all the time like a pregnant woman can they?"

"Well, I did remember someone casted an old bratty man with a back ache all the time did they? I think they'll consider my condition." And I just have to smile at that. Again another silence, but he broke it.

"You know, everytime you come here, after Satoshi leaves, the rainbow always appears."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hate you. You know that?" He didn't even bat an eye. He was still focused on the tombstone. When I dragged him in this place, he was fuming mad at me. I was prepared to receive a hit, but now he just looked lost. I asked Jun and Aiba to give us space to talk. Aiba was right, I needed this. Jun was also right, I looked just like him.

"Why does it have to be him Ohchan? Why him? not someone else?"

" I tried to sway to away from him. I got close to you to steal you away from him. But still you end up with him. Why him of all people?"

He jerked. And he slowly turned his head towards me. His eyes, full of tears and full of pain. Sucking my life force and drawing the truth out of me.

"That I should ask you too. Why do love him?"

The rain seemed to drown us as it poured heavily on our heads.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I'm worried about Satoshi, Nino. I know he'll break down eventually." Sho's voice was weak and coarse. He tried to sit up and I helped him.

"He'll get through this, we will get through this. Just keep on fighting."

I let my hand linger on his arm. I could feel him struggle to keep his balance. He was already weak, and it's a lie to say that he'll be with us forever.

"Sometimes, you just have to stop fighting and start accepting." He said after he has found a comfortable position. He smiled and reached out for my other hand and grasped it like his life depended on it.

"Do you know why there's a rainbow after the rain?"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You're drowning Ohchan. And you won't even let us help you. You're wasting your life with the grief. It's hurting the people around you. It's hurting AIba, Jun and it's hurting me. It's been a year Ohchan. Maybe you should stop?"

"Then tell me how to stop? How did you stop?" It was almost inaudible.

"I- it's hard, but-but.." I couldn't even say anything. Maybe because I didn't stop too. But as I felt the rain, I knew, I knew what to do.

"Don't tell me to stop. Cause we both are still in deep shit.Cause we're in love with the same person."

"I know we both are. But unlike you.." I walked pass by him, and approached the tombstone. I touched it with my hand, caressing it as I run my finger on the engraved name. The coldness of the thing reminded me once again of the thing we both lost. I faced him and pointed out the sky.

"He is washing away your pain. Not mine."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"You know, It should have been me. So you won't spend your remaining days worrying about that old fish smelling man." I crossed my arms and pretended to look pissed.
"If it was you, I'd be more worried Kazu." He smiled shyly. I gaped at him. Thinking of words to retort.

"You can just leave your fortune to me and buy me games. That will keep me from bawling over your dead body." I snickered. He laughed genuinely, despite the difficulty. He coughed and I helped him by softly patting his back and moved my hand in a circular motion, to atleast appease him. He looked at me with a sad smile.

"I doubt that. If I chose you, I don't think you'll ever get up. You'll be in much deeper shit than you already are. No need to pretend Kazu." He touched my cheek and sighed. He turned to the window and a little smile formed in his lips.

"Do you have the answer to my question?"

"What question?"

"Why there's a rainbow after the rain?"

"First you asked about the rain, And I think that's because of the Water cycle, then you asked me about the rainbow, I think that's because of the light reflection and prism effect. Now what else? Are you going to ask me about why my underwear is color yellow?" I snickered and he laughed a little.

"I left Satoshi beautiful memories, under the rain, Kazu. And I believe that after I go, it'll become painful." He squeezed my hand and brought it to his lips.

"But I just found my rainbow."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He looked at me, eyes sparked with realization. He held his head up and he lay down on the grass. I could see the tears streaming down his eyes. The rain could stop them, but the rain is washing them away.

He sobbed for a couple of minutes, then his breathe evened out. I can hear him mumble something like, "I'm sorry, I love you too Sho." And he closed his eyes. I lay beside him and cried myself too.

When I opened my eyes, I saw the most beautiful sunset painted sky. Red, yellow and a hint of blue. But what made it gorgeous was a rainbow that adorned the sky. I couldn't help but smile.

I turned my head to my companion, and I saw him smile a little too. Too mesmerized by the breathtaking scenery. There were no tears in our eyes anymore. He dug out something on his pocket and held it up his face.

"I never really understand what he wrote here. But, I think, I hope.." He looked at me with hopeful eyes. I gestured him to hand the bookmark he was holding.

Tears were threatening to fall again, but this time with happiness. I reached out and entwined our hands. There's a familiar warmth enveloping me. He jerked up and looked at our hands and then to my face. He blushed a little. I smiled, and moved a little bit closer to him. For the first time, I did not see Satoshi, as a bandmate, a friend, nor a rival, I saw him and only him. I saw happiness.

"Let's go home." His eyes were asking me.

"Together?" he whispered.

"Together."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"The rainbow always appears when you're here Kazu." I shrugged.

"Maybe because I'm beautiful?" Sho chuckled.

"Yes you are, you are Kazunari." His voice warmed my heart. There was fondness and affection there. And I basked in the moment of bliss.

"Do you know why there's a rainbow after the rain?" I shrugged.

"True happiness starts after the pain. And without pain, there's no happiness. They go hand in hand. It has always been like this. Happiness doesn't come before the pain. That's why the rainbow doesn't appear before it rains. We could wallow in our own misery and pain, but the truth is, happiness is just waiting on the other side of the rainbow. That's why the rainbow appears after all the tears of pain have been shed. It will lead you to a new beginning. All you have to do is get up and cross that bridge. And once you crossed it, You'll find your own pot of gold in the end of the rainbow. Your happiness."

My eyes burned. And my breathing ragged. My grip on the wheel chair tightened. Sho covered my hand with his and I relaxed. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.

"I love you Sho, please don't leave us." I pleaded, eyes still closed.

"I love you too Kazu. I love Jun and Aiba too. And I love Satoshi with all my heart." My tears escaped despite my effort to stop them from falling. I want to cling on to Sho, and to prevent him from fading. But I know, I know I couldn't keep him.

"I hope, I can be your rainbow, Kazu. And help you bring your happiness. Something I didn't give you. Something I couldn't be for you." He squeezed my hand and kissed it.

"Please, just wait on the other side, and I'll bring him to you." Sho whispered.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sho will be our Sunshine and warmth. Satoshi was Sho's rain, I was Sho's rainbow. But now, I know that.. We're both Sho's happiness.

Dear Satoshi,
When I've washed away all the pain, and you've remembered that I love you more than anything in this world, please cross the rainbow. Happiness, he's waiting for you on the other side.
