I always seem to pick the exactly wrong weekend to go home, but being with my family more than makes up for whatever I'm missing in Boston. I'm so glad Robot was able to come with me this time as well.
The trip down yesterday was longer than usual and by the time we pulled onto Canal St I was suffocating from lack of oxygen. A quick trip to Starbucks made me feel human again and then it was off to Union Sq to meet up with Kelly and Noy for a deliciously cheap lunch at L'Annam. I wish we could have stayed longer but the commuter rail was going to be packed at rush hour so it was short and sweet. Kelly told me the most ridiculous show line-up I've ever heard:
Friday, June 23 @ Tweeter Center- Nine Inch Nails with special guests Bauhaus and Peaches. WTF to the extreme. Tickets start at $20 so I may have to go and witness this insanity.
Today is all about relaxing, shopping and watching movies. Tim bought a 52 inch plasma screen for the basement and if I had my way I'd never leave the confines of the ultra comfy ultrasuede couch.
