Things seem a little left in the lurch. I hope this place picks up because I need a little structure and stimulation to whip my muse(s) into shape and action. Hopefully the crowds will rise with the impending Halloween event. In any case, allow me to introduce myself as M. René Antoine Marcadet, commonly referred to as "Marco" -- eclectic artist, troubled humanist and tragic Montmatrois or neo-Montmartrois extraordinaire, depending on the time period my whimsy decides upon at any given moment. He's still very much in the works and I intend to flesh him out as I draw influences from reality, surreality and muse-fueling communities such as this fine establishment. I am pining for in-character interaction, so any one with any interest in the historically bohemian communities of Montmartre (think Baz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge without the speed) or Montparnasse or Paris -- modern or otherwise -- in general should contact me so that we can shoot the breeze and plotstorm. I believe that's all I have to say for the moment.
