It's been a while.
Summary
Life is pretty fantastic in general.
Dancing
We're back into dancing, which I really missed. Nikki even said that it was awesome I was back because some days there's only one person that's worth dancing with there (freyaw 's partner, obviously :). That made good feelings.
Choir
We've just started Carmina, which is awesome if mindless. We have so many more freshers! Apparently we're expecting 95 singers this week. We've already latched onto some freshers and they seem to be having fun.
PIV
Perth was fantastic. It was the most fun I've ever had at an IV before. It was also the least dodgy IV I've ever had. These things may correlate. I think it also helped that compared to other IVs, I've often been part of some kind of controversy, or there's been some around, and I didn't feel that this time. So many wonderful people, new, interesting people, and old friends I've wanted to reconnect with for an age.
AVCON
I went on Saturday with cravatfiend . It was fun - she dressed up all hot-like (in the same style as she was on the opening night of PIV? I think...) and we made fun of people and looked at all the awesome costumes. I got her a companion cube, and since theladylillith could not come because of her work (she has been working so hard!) I got her a GIANT TEPIG.
D&D
Sunday was D&D. I have so much fun doing this. I think it's fun for me because:
1) I get to be creative
2) I get to surprise players
3) My players are fucking fantastic and make it interesting for me.
I also get to hang with friends for a few hours. Watching how sad theladylillith was when her character died was pretty upsetting though :(
