I just enquired about taking my big fire stick to Brisbane for BIV. Apparently it will cost around 250$. Yikes - not entirely unexpected I guess.

So now I have to think of an alternative. I may be able to send it through the post, but even if it wasn't considered dangerous, it would still probably have a hefty delivery fee (it's 1.3m long).

The second, and probably best, option is for me to make a new stick and not dip it until I get to BIV. Then someone in Brisbane can get a free fire stick when I have to go home. I *probably* have enough kevlar for it already.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Back to work now....

aucs, biv, dangerous goods, fire twirling
