[A man is dragging a large, heavy crate to the center plaza of the town, near the fountain. If anyone is watching, they will see him finally stop near one of the benches, have a seat down and wipe his forehead. After a moment he'll stand again, reach over and attempt to pry the crate open. He is met with little success ( Read more... )

[Considering how much Albert has been in the plaza lately to look for Raine after John took her, so this is all really John's fault all over again. He frowns at the stranger with the large crate, eying the drag marks and noting that ... they don't seem to be coming from the general directions of any of the houses.

Never mind the fact that he had never seen this man before; with the influx of New Feathers still underway, it was possible this person had yet to make a journal entry. There had been a few who had done that in the past.

But that didn't explain the crate.]

Do you need some help there?

[Aforementioned rock-banging is happening as Albert approaches, and Jacob finally opens the crate to pull out one of the guns and examine it, turning a dial here and adjusting a screw there. He doesn't seem to be very surprised by Albert's approach.

When he speaks it's with a mild Irish accent, notable but not very strong.]

Nope. I got it, thanks.

[He raises a brow at the sight of the golden-colored gun. That was certainly a new sight in the village. For one bizarre moment, he wonders if he's stumbled upon a Malnosso in the act of replenishing the tool store.

But his thoughts linger on the man's spoken words. It's been awhile since he'd heard a voice similar to that.]

You're taller than I expected.

[Quick. Though he wouldn't have expected anything else from Albert Silverberg, if the reports were to be trusted. Apparently it ran in the family.

Something in the casing of the gun bothers Jacob, and he stands it upright on the bench as he unscrews a piece of it, tampering until it meets his approval.] I'm only five eleven. Unless you were expecting a leprechaun.

Point of view guns. [He fiddles with a piece of it before glancing up at her, lips pursing. Should he shoot her with it?]

[Well, that's not something you see every day, so Xigbar will be dropping lower on his upside-down tour of town to take a look. New person too, by the look of him. But not as confused as some have been.

Very strange.]

Need a hand there?

I got it. [Xigbar...that'd be real interesting. Though with Nobodies not having any feelings, Jacob wonders if firing the point of view gun at him would do any good. A great deal of his motivation is based on sympathy, after all.]

[Well, he does have opinions. How much of them are faked though...]

Sooooo... what's in the box?

Point-of-view guns. [Might be interesting to see how a Nobody's point of view would fit on a person with a heart, too.] Want to try it out?

[Roxas was walking through town on his way back to his apartment when he spotted something a little...okay a lot out of the ordinary. He'll approach the stranger and curiously peer into the box as well]

Suspicious man with a suspicious box. What's the story here?

You're a nosy lad, aren'tcha? [Not that Jacob blames him. In fact, he'd have been surprised if Roxas hadn't walked up with that little half-glare. The kid really was too curious for his own good sometimes.]

That's the only way I can get answers from you, isn't it?

Who says you deserve any answers? [He really shouldn't push buttons. It's just so rude.

...that and Roxas could own him in a heartbeat, but damn it he just made it so easy.]

[While on her merry own way, Buffy pauses to observe the man and the appliances? Clubs? Guns?! Gold ones, at that. She doubles back, frowning.]

So, what is this? Are you the arms-dealer for some sort of wacky disco mafia?

They're pretty tacky, I'll give you that. [Cumbersome, too. Thank the Holy Father they aren't much bigger than they already are, otherwise they'd be nigh impossible to use.]

Tacky doesn't even begin do describe them. But I bet the word shootable would. These are some sort of gun?

[Buffy has no inkling of who she's talking to, so she's going to be rather bold and stand close to the box, peering in with that look of curiousity on her face.]

Some sort. Called a point of view gun. [Buffy would stick her nose in even if she did know, she's a curious cat and all that.]
