Writer's Block: Can't we all just get along?
Usually bullies are looking for some kind of reaction- they wanna piss you off, they want to see you angry, they want to see that they have power over someone or something for a variety of reasons. "Don't pick up the rope", my mother would say.
There will always be mean kids in the world that have to get revenge, get even, vent their anger, entertain themselves because they are bored, whatevs.
Don't be a victim- rise above their antics and ignore them. Once they realize that you won't play with them and you won't give them the show and entertainment they want, they will get bored and move on.
In the meantime, if parents these days actually did a good job of teaching their kids what is right and wrong, where there are boundaries, and how to respect others, this problem wouldn't be as big as it is.
