Should I eat the sunlight

A/N: I read a pantoum poem (actually more than one) and was inspired to try it out myself. I wrote two but the other one is not so good so I'm just posting this one. I first thought it might be boring or difficult to write regular poems but it was actually fun and worked out pretty easily for me, it took me maybe five minutes to write this. The original thought was that it was dinner time but I wasn't hungry. How that turned into this is a mystery of my brain.

The clock strikes five
I guess it’s time to eat
I feel no hunger
But time is passing by

I guess it’s time to eat
Carrots and potatoes
But time is passing by
Should I eat the sunlight

Carrots and potatoes
As if those will fill me
Should I eat the sunlight
It will never end

As if those will fill me
I need something more so I can say
It will never end
I wish for eternity, still.
