capital as power

... don't really know why I am reading this (boredom I guess?), but:

according to Marx, capital is an "economic" entity that can be measured in universal units of "abstract labour". These guys claim that capital "is not a narrow economic entity, but a symbolic quantification of power"... it "represents the organized power of dominant capital groups to reshape - or creorder - their society".

... makes no sense, if you think about it... unless we made the jump from capitalism to fascism already?

also, you can frame *anything* as "power". hey, thought is power. need something more original.
