Intercon K
Well Intercon is over. I feel like I just jumped a reaaaaally big hurdle.
Friday night slot was Magic Eyes: Elizabeth Greene
Saturday morning: Ops.
Saturday afternoon Linfarn Run: Constance Moran
Saturday night Sky No Longer Blue: co-writer and GM
Saturday late: room party of the cuddle pile. <3
Sunday morning The Other All Batman Game: Barbara Gordon/Batgirl
Intercon was just this really amazing experience. It was my first Intercon, my first LARP con staying at the hotel (we commuted to SLAW) and it was only my second time GMing. The whole thing was just kind of crazy. I got to know a lot of people much better, and met some new people, which is always nice.
I also helped write my first LARP. I love writing and I love this kind of creative outlet. But writing something that people have to act out, writing a life and history and watching it become someone's life, that is totally awesome. I want to write lots more, and hopefully will have the chance to do that.
I did come back to Boston only to spend yesterday in extreme-stress-related-back-pain land. It is something of a recurring issue for me, and I think standing a lot and anxiety producing situations did not exactly help. Today I feel a bit better, but I really need to get a doctors appointment soon.
PS: This journal of mine is basically friends only, but I am leaving this post unlocked for a couple weeks, in hopes of Intercon/LARPy type people friending me/friending me back. See some of you at Festival and RPI I hope!
