So I've been taking a little LJ break to deal with some RL life crap, and now I can stretch and yawn and return to the loving bosom of the interwebz.
Oh, and Skyrim didn't really help either. (FUCKING BEARS)
Went to Yoshi's last night to see Jordan Knight on the Live and Unfinished tour. My galpal in boybandom joined me, and it was lovely to see her again since I hadn't since... Anaheim on NKOTBSB, I think.
All I can say is -- oh. my. god.
That man is... well. In my newfound love of the NKOTB, I'm more of a Jon or Joey girl, when the line is drawn. But goddamn, Jordan Knight is pure sex and that boy absolutely 100% knows it. And getting to be in a small-ish venue, with a chill crowd, not getting shoved around? Fucking lovely.
It was an absolutely spectacular evening, it's been a bit since I listened to Unfinished and I now have the heart-deep love that comes out whenever I see a pop love perform live. Seeing a song performed live and having that memory of a perfect moment will melt my heart to even the songs I loathe the most (yes, I do mean PDA, why do you ask?)
The Rock Star girls KILLED IT and did the Bay proud.
I wish there was a way to bottle the feeling of being at a manpop/boyband concert because damn, I would live inside that warm bubble of feeling if I could. It was so much fun, and Jordan was SO GOOD, and I just had a lovely time. I like the person I am when I'm fangirling over my menz, I wish I could be her more often.
Also, I am now listening to "Inside" and "One More Night" nonstop. THESE SONGS, THEY SPEAK TO MY SOUL.
