So I have long been among the believers that the Backstreet Boys should just adopt JC because seriously, why not, he can be the mascot or the sixth Boy or whatever, it'd be awesome and adorable and lead to more excellent photos of him smiling with arms slung around the others. JC not doing much in music breaks my soul, so yeah.
But I was wrong. So wrong.
So now in my second month of a newly-minted Blockhead, I've been listening to "The Block". A lot. Like, a lot.
JC totally should have been a New Kid.
There's just enough of those 'what is happening here guys, seriously' lyrics to make me go, "Damn, JC would have been down with this, add a reference to spaaaace and there were are."
And then I heard "Sexify my Love" and considered offering my left ovary to hear JC sing it.
And then when I heard "Lights, Camera, Action" I realized that goddamn, JC totally must have secretly singing this in the shower at some point in life since that CD was release because yes. If/when the New Kids release more music, JC totally needs to write something for them. Dear god. The *things* he could make Donnie whisper sexily on a track...
...Ahem. Well. Now I should probably go back to supervising fourth-graders. Yeaaaaah.
