I thought it was obvious: In exactly the same vein as the first. I just think you're taking it waaaaay too seriously.

There is nothing about the written word that shouldn't be taken seriously. If it was a satire, it would be brilliant. But the fact is that it is not, and Stephenie Meyer is not poking fun at herself - she is attempting to write seriously and professionally. If it was supposed to make fun of itself, then it would probably be good, but it's completely straight faced, and I'm sorry, but I don't appreciate poor writing.
