"My Riolu evolved," she says, but means I'm legal now, you know. Her skirt is too short, as usual, hiking up her legs at alarming speed, but Riley doesn't budge from his seat.
Not an inch, for her despair.
"That's great, Dawn!" he exclaims with genuine excitement, smiling at her warmly. "Can I see it?"
"Yeah, I guess," she mutters, finger wrapped around a lock of blue hair. She drops it to her waist, grabbing her Pokéball, and on the way, subtly hikes her skirt higher - his breath hitches when pink underwear flashes.
"It's beautiful," he says, when she lets it out. The blue, elegant animal growls, and Dawn takes as a sign that she (it's a she, yes) likes him.
"Oh," she starts, kneeling over the still small Lucario. Again with the pantie-flash, he notes, and tries his best not to roll his eyes. "She loves you!"
His eyes brigthen, "Really?"
"Well, duh," she replies, returning her pet with a bright red light, "You are her father, after all."
An awkward pause.
"Uh-What?"
"You know," Dawn huffs, as if she's tired of repeating the following words, "I'm the mother, you're the father. It's fairly easy, see-"
"I know how b-babies are born!" Riley screeches, horrified.
Dawn raises an incredulous eyebrow, crossing one leg-slowly, agonizingly slowly-over the other. Riley swallows, eyes waving on the hem of her pink skirt.
"My mom says," Dawn fists the end of shirt, and eventually slips it over her head "You never know until you try."
...Riley had to hand it to her.
