Kakashi walked swiftly down the road, fists clenching and unclenching in his pockets as he tried to appear no different from usual. But anyone who knew the man well enough could tell he was either extremely anxious or angry, indicated by his uncharacteristic speed and lack of pornography as he wandered toward his apartment. He bumped into a young man on his way and ignored the indignant shouts that followed as he finally reached his building.
Apparently in too much of a hurry to bother with the stairs, he leapt the three stories up to his windowsill and broke into his own bedroom. His tense shoulders immediately slumped as he rolled onto his bed and he let out a sigh. Confident that he was alone, he reached up to tug down his mask and took a deep breath.
Normally, his home smelled like a mix of dog and coffee, but today he caught a very familiar scent that was very out of place.
Kakashi pulled his mask back up just in time to hear his bedroom door creak open wider and see a pink head of hair poke in.
"You," he growled in a mix of anger and panic, but there was smile on her face as she stepped inside and closed the door behind her. Sakura approached the bed and he scrambled to sit up and back away as if he were a little kid and she were the Boogeyman.
Which, if he thought about it, quite accurately summed up how he viewed their relationship over the past few weeks.
"Sensei, you didn't come to the party," she said in what she probably thought was a casual tone, but to him sounded seductive and lilting as he tried hard to remind himself that this was his student, not the young woman he'd mistakenly come on to three weeks ago. "I wanted to celebrate my birthday with you," she smiled, finally reaching the edge of the bed.
"Uh, Sakura--" he began stiffly, but his voice left him briefly as she started crawling across the mattress towards him, giving him a very nice view down the top of her dress. "Sakura," he tried again, this time sounding a little more stern, "I'm tired. Go home."
She tilted her head like a curious puppy, but she was hardly that innocent. Her hands had reached his calves, were now slowly reaching his thighs, and also, he was terrified to realize, turning him on.
"Give me one good reason why I should," she hummed, hands pausing. He doubted anything he said would convince her -- as his 'you were my student,' 'I'm almost fifteen years older than you,' and 'you can have anyone you want' arguments had been dismissed before -- but he was good at coming up with excuses on the spot.
"I'm celibate," he said suddenly.
Sakura blinked, and for a minute he thought she was going to start laughing, but she actually took her hands away and sat up to stare at him. He was suddenly disappointed that she would believe it so easily, but mentally kicked himself for even thinking of feeling that way. He tried to open his mouth to say something, but anything he thought of he suspected would only make this more awkward. They sat like this, staring evenly at one another, for a few minutes before a thoughtful look spread on her face.
"You know, I can't tell if that's either the most or least believable excuse you've ever given me," she said before promptly straddling him, pulling down his mask, and whispering against his lips that she didn't care either way.
