Anyone remember that hot coffee lawsuit against McDonald's?

As though I weren't depressed enough by someone suing McDonald's because their coffee was hot and they were not intelligent enough to handle their cup carefully, next to this person I would say it sounds like a viable lawsuit.

There is a woman suing Google for the walking directions it gave her on her phone while she was walking at night. She came to the intersection, a four-lane boulevard, that had no crosswalks and, seeing this and the inherent lack of safety, decided to cross anyway.

"She [thought she] could reach a sidewalk on the other side of Deer Valley Drive and tried to cross the boulevard, but didn't even make it to the median," the lady's lawyer said. She was hit by a car and suffered multiple fractures.

I fail to see how Google is responsible for her lack of judgment. Especially when she admits her lack of judgment, as stated above. But the woman claims that she assumed it was safe because Google recommended it (stupid, stupid assumption) and says it's Google's fault for not posting warnings. Google claims it does post warnings on all directions given, beginning in 2008.
