Mistakes of the Brush
so its cool...u know i painted....and it came out horrible....
i mean i am not done with it yet so maybe by some miracle it will suddenly become a master piece or at least something somewhat tolerable...LOL
i think the growth comes in that instead of bashng myself and putting down the brush for another 10 years...and stick to ceramics and things i am confident at...its ok...i learned from it....and i am already looking forward to the next painting...already have ideas...
i think part of the issue besides my obvious need for practice...is the quality of those acrylics is horrible...i havent painted in a LONG time i know but the cheap acrylics that i have are more like watercolors...in fact, i am thinking of using them for that instead....
i have 2 other sets so i will try those and see - maybe i just dont like acrylics...maybe oil is what i should be using? i dunno....i'll experiment and see...what works for ME....
which is improvement too....i'm not robbing myself of the experience now....
