Beautiful Music
My first track meet was decent. We won the 4x8 relay, and I had the 2nd fastest time out of my relay time. But then we sat in the cold for about three hours and then I ran the 800 and lost, there were only 3 of us though. It was quite emberassing but I had absolutely no energy after my first race and the cold weather. Also, I am no where near the level of fitness I need to be in. I enjoy the people on my team and I got the chance to see Amber and Jennifer since they go to Caroll High. I was going to go see Secret Window with Leigh but we were to exhausted and we got home at 9:30 anyways.
Saturday was very much fun. I went out to eat at Old Mexico with Heather and her family and then Heather and I went shopping for prom stuff. I bought my shoes and my purse. I can barely contain my excitement for that night, it is going to be fantastic! After we went shopping we went to my house. My parents went out to a party so I had a few people over. Ryan, Alicia, Heather, John, and Jay. We all smoked and just chilled at my house. Then Heather, John, Alicia, and I all went to this Spanish club called Los Latinos. We were the only white people there, everyone else was Mexican. Heather knew some of the people and we had an awesome time dancing. They got us some drinks too so it was a fun time.
Today Jeffrey came over and I showed him all my prom stuff. He really liked my dress so that made me happy. Then we went to go look for a chair for his room so we stopped by a few furniture places. Then came back to my house and he played the piano and showed me a few things. I am very unskilled at the piano, my fingers move so slow. Ahh well, it was sweet for him to try and teach me. I love spending time with him. Well now I am to church for a life night. TTFN. : )
