Fragile is his love.
Twice he has loved,
And twice his love has been crushed.
Sadness lingers within him.
Love is never forgotten.
It always remains.
Past loves haunt him.
Brilliant blue eyes, a window to his soul.
I look into them with compassion.
To take away his sadness,
I wish I was capable.
He views life from artist's eyes,
Studies and admires his surroundings.
Those eyes look at you,
They now know you.
In his mind a picture he paints.
Slight anxiety comes
From trying to be perfect in his view.
Hands caress the face.
Lips press softly against another.
Arms intertangle
And bodies are almost one.
But he is still broken apart.
A small shield quards his heart,
Allowing love to be at bay.
She prays for him.
To no longer be afraid to love.
To not have sadness hidden within him.
To be free in every way.
