Unique/Weird Moments

So Saturday I wanted to go shopping since I have a job and I finally have money, so I did. I picked up Alicia and we hit up the mall. I got these adorable shoes on sale at Dillard's, they are these pointed leather shoes with little bows and a smaller version of stilleto heels. Then I went to Express and got a sweater and Parisian for a jacket. After the mall I went to Alicia's house and ate with her weird family. I ate some oysters and they were tasty. After that I went and picked up Melissa and we went to Dakota Coffee. As we were drinking our coffees, guess who calls? My ex-boyfriend's frind Daniel and he is like Scott and I are coming to Dothan (they live in Ozark) and we wanted to meet up with you and Valerie. So they stop by Dakota and it was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable since I haven't seen him in almost a year since we broke up. As I continue, we all decide to leave and drive around and think of something to do. Melissa comes up with this great idea, at least in my opinion, lets go up onto the school roof. So we drive over to Northview and she shows us how to get onto the roof. I expected some nice convenient way but it was so complicated. I am absolutely terrified of heights so I was shaking when I finally got up there, plus it was freezing out. But there was ice on the roof and we started sliding and skating around and overall it was a really fun time. I really liked it because I thought it was something different to do, not the same old thing. I get so sick of how everything always seems to be the same thing, and our goal as teenagers on the weekend is where is the party at and how fucked up can we get? I didn't particularly want to see Scott but he had some things he wanted to tell me, and the words I loved hearing were I am sorry for being such a dick, asshole, and jerk; at least something along those lines. He says that last year when we broke up he felt really guilty about the way things ended and he was glad he finally got the chance to talk with me about it. It seemed like something he needed to say so I just let him say it. But overall it doesn't mean anything to me, I got over all that last year and I let go of it. In a way though, it was nice to hear. Oh by the way, I saw American History X on Friday and I was impressed. A lot of people around here need to see it, it might change a lot of people. I've seen a lot of good movies lately like Cold Mountain, LOTR 3, Donnie Darko, 28 Days Later, and Bowling for Columbine. I think I've turned into one of those movie freaks, the beginning of this year I barely went to the theater or rented movies and I've done it for the past 4 weekends at least. I'll end with this quote: "We did not change as we grew older; we just became more clearly ourselves."
