Today I am back in BA.
Yesterday I saw a penguin colony in its mating season.
The day before I saw a 360 degree sunset, where the sun was setting and the opposite side of the sky was pink and yellow, and you could see rays of sun coming up through clouds low on the horizon. Someone told me this is because the rays were curving around the tip of the Earth. This occurred at about 10pm.
The day before that I saw a glacier. When I was in middle school I thought glaciers only existed in the Ice Age, helped shaped local landscapes and then disappeared with the wooly mammoths and saber toothed tigers.

It was never really dark in Ushuaia. The official time of sunset was about 10pm, and the official sunrise was about 4:50am, but there was always some light in the sky, even at two in the morning. I have officially been farther south than I've ever been north. I almost feel like I've been disloyal to my hemisphere.

New York soon, I suppose.

I would also really be okay with it if Jack would stop with the hospital visits. Like, seriously okay. I think I worry too much. In general.
