(no subject)
My head feels like it's on fire...but the rest of me is cold...and I can't swallow. I really really really don't need this right now. Really. I don't know how I'm going to drag myself to class tomorrow morning.
On the up side, I went to the Jardin Botanico de Buenos Aires today because it was sunny and like maybe even 50 degrees Fahrenheit! Yes! Fourth sunny day since I got here! And there were a ton of cats there because apparently that's where people in this city put cats they don't want anymore. The garden was like a representation of the Buenos Aires that everybody describes but I have yet to see or understand. There were tons of trees, a lot of them tropical in nature, interrupted by imitation gardens in various European styles, for example, Roman, French, etc. And a lot of stray cats. I feel like palm trees, European gardens, and stray cats embodies how people describe Buenos Aires, but up until now I have only really felt the stray cats part of it. It was beautiful though, so I can't imagine how amazing it will be during the spring.
Now I need to go lie down otra vez y descansarme.
