So last night was something that I didn't really know I needed, but I definitely did.  At about 3 in the morning, Julia, Conrad and I trekked out into the snow, which was at times actually hail, as we felt inclined to take a walk.  First we ran around on the soccer field, and discovered first that someone had written "RAPTORS" in huge letters, and also a giant Pacman chasing a ghost.  We then managed to walk all the way to south campus and found two kids attemping to "snow in" a dorm by piling snow in front of their door.  We decided to help, and soon our snow barrier was covering the door handing.  Woot!  (By the way kids, don't worry, that dorm is connected to another one, so they can actually get out.  Indeed, our actions were merely hilarious and not dangerous at all).  We later discovered that they were doing this because a guy they didn't care for in the dorm was dating their friend, and also that he probably wasn't actually in the dorm that night.  Good planning for the win!  We walked back to north and by that time were dying, warmed up in village J, and then Julia and I went home.  All in all a very satisfying and much needed, stress relieving trip.  For some reason that walk made all the finals-stress and the Jack's in Canada and I miss him upsetness go away.

Today my father is supposed to drive up here to pick my brother and I up to go to Hannukah with my familia.  I told him that I would go, but in retrospect it's the worst idea ever.  I'll get some work done, but not nearly enough, and family is not something I need right now.  Oh yes, Jason is visiting for the weekend/possibly the week?  He isnt staying with me, though, he's staying with a friend from Simon's Rock who goes here now, which is great because it means that I get to see him frequently but not actually have him following me around all the time.  Also, my room is currently messy as hell since I gave up on it when finals started, and he coudln't live in that.

The real question here is why did I decide to make my papers more difficult than they needed to be?  Why didn't I decide to write them on things we'd actually discussed in class, so I had some idea of what I was doing, instead of picking weird topics that I clearly haven't done enough research for?  I suck at doing research, by the way.  I've learned that.

Anyway, home on Thursday evening, probably, or Friday morning if anybody wishes to know.  I think this break is going to be awesome?  If it isn't I'll kick it in the jugular.
