(no subject)
So it's raining here again, to the point where the sunken area outside of our dining hall that has picnic tables and stuff basically can probably be used for boating. Yay.
I know at least six freshmen, probably more, who are either thinking about transferring the semester after next, or are actually doing so. It's more than a little depressing, especially since some of them keep me sane.
I've been seeing more of my mother lately, which is nice, and talking to her more.
Oh! This is what I actually wanted to post about! Bard was on 60 Minutes last night, which was hilarious. I mean, the segment was about the Bard penitentary education program, which isn't that hilarious, but I mean, they had interviews with our president, who is the definition of the word "hilarious". My friend knows someone who went to high school with him, and apparently even in a school of pretentious over-achievers, he stuck out for having those qualities. Also, there were the amusing shots of students walking around looking generally ridiculous.
I'm so glad that this semester is almost over. I'm counting down, like many others, in terms of how many papers I have left to write, which for me is three.
