Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes...

I just saw somebody with Roger's old Eternal Sunshine icon, and I freaked out because I thought it was him for a few seconds.

I love baseball, I really do. Playing the game doesn't really do it for me, but watching it on TV, or in real life...and, oh, listening to it on the radio, especially listening to it on the radio, really just...you know. I love it. It's so soothing, and all of these childhood associations come back to me. It's like a drug, I'm always happy when I'm watching baseball, especially the Mets. I can't think of anything better than driving down a highway on a sunny, warm day, with the windows open, listening to people on WFAN talking about a Mets game. Maybe it's the time of year, the spring and everything that comes along with it. You guys know I'm not much for sports, but still. It's funny, I grew up watching and playing basketball and baseball. I love watching baseball, but don't like to play it, and I love playing basketball, but don't like to watch it. Interesting. I suppose this is something I've taken from my father.

Should I go to Bard or Washington? People keep telling me to compare their writing programs, but I don't really care anymore. I'm going to try to visit Bard this weekend, and if it's not pretentious (I remember it being too artistically pretentious to deal with) I'll go there. Maybe. I only have a week or two before I have to send in the deposit for one of them. I'm so confused. I can't keep things straight anymore. I spent this entire morning editing the essays and things my father had to write for my brother's application. I can't focus on anything right now.

I bought a prom dress yesterday. It's not particularly pretty, but it was on the cheap side, and it's not ugly, so whatever. I don't care anymore. I guess that's the overall theme here. Let's find the symbols!

Spamalot was fun. It's an entertaining show, but you just can't replace the original cast. It's funny, though, the actors they got to play Sir Robin and Lancelot looked a heck of a lot like the people they were replacing, David Hyde Pierce and Hank Azaria.

prom, college, baseball, musicals
