Holy freaking windstorm and lightning Batman!
It's not even barely raining. Well maybe it is but it's too dang windy to see or hear it. Our front door here keeps being ripped open by the wind. It's going to be real fun working at OB tonight.
So, hi everyone! I know I haven't written in a long while. I was being lazy. I'm not joking. Thursday after dinner I came home and started my marathon of House Season 3. It went from Thursday 6pm-11:30pm, Friday noon-4:30pm, Sat 11:30pm-2pm, Sunday noon-10pm, and Monday 5pm-9pm. Yeah, that's how sad I am. I'm watching all the extras that go along with the shows. I only have 6 episodes left to go plus the extras. I should finish that up Wednesday or Thursday night.
I haven't been a total recluse though. I got to talk to Sam a bit Sunday night. He's not really doing any better. He has a constant cough that is bothering the hell out of him. He goes to the lung specialist on December 3rd. I really hope they figure out how to get rid of this thing. His team almost beat the Patriots...did you see that?
The other person I've been talking to a lot is Eric. What I like about him is that he can always make me laugh about the stupidest stuff. And he's not totally absent during the day. I can email him at any time and he'll answer me back. Work is great for those reasons. I know I know, Annie, you're the same way. However, I always feel like I'm bothering you when I email you. I'll email you more, I promise!
Tomorrow is Rick's 50th bday. Him and Mom are fighting hard core. No one has told me over what or why. I'm thinking I'm going to take him out to dinner tomorrow. Speaking of which, I gotta call him around 4pm to confirm dinner plans. Mom said she's not spending a dime on him if he's being an ass. Great! Doesn't mean he's an ass to me, so I'm going to take him out! Fifty is something to celebrate.
Also, I have three formal "dates" coming up, so I decided a new little black dress was in order. Thank good ness none of the events overlap each other, so I can reuse the dress. My Housing Xmas party, my OB Xmas party, and my formal dinner on the cruise all require me in a dress. Yeah, I know...I should take pictures. How often do you ever see me dressed up and makeup on? Mom and I are going shopping on Saturday up at the mall. First time in almost a year and a half that I'm going shopping for myself. Whoa!
Okay time to go back to work and actually do some more work. Have a good day everyone!
