Nightmares/Daughtry/Credit Cards

Aug 15, 2007 15:39

I haven't been able to stop yawning all day today. I even went to bed at 10pm last night. I'm sure it was the three nightmares I had last night that also contributed to yawns. As much as I keep track of my dreams, for some reason I never right down my nightmares. Probably because they are all of tornados and fires. I guess that is truly what I'm afraid of.

In other news, today I pay for my Daughtry ticket. $31.75 I guess isn't that bad to go see him on October 1st. Though our tickets are way in the back of the theatre. The Warner is setup like Fisher, but bigger. We're in the middle section and probably 7 rows from the back. Hopefully there will be no obstruction. I'll see if I can't take some decent pictures.

After this purchase, there will be no more extra money spent, except for what I already budgeted for. This cruise is going to take up most of my savings. I applied for a new credit card, however I didn't get the credit limit I wanted, so even with the balance transfer I'm not going to have a lot of money to be able to spend. Stupid Capital One...I really would have been happy keeping that card, but no..you had to up my interest rate and change it from a fixed rate to a variable one. Grrr...

Also, as much as I'm going to hate myself I'm prolly going to have to pick up an extra day at Outback every once and awhile. I've decided to use my tips as the spending money for the cruise. I work next Wednesday because of the new computer system that I have to get used to. I planned that so I wouldn't be thrown into the new system on a weekend. This also means I can't quit Outback if and when I get a higher score on the Civil Service exam. If any of you would like to contribute to my cruise trip there are ways to do that...sending money for bdays and xmas is always good...or you can get me Carnival Cruise gift certificates: http://www.carnival.com/CMS/FAQs/Funship_Dollars_Gift__Certificates.aspx here or by dialing 1-800-906-7603 and demoninations of $25, 50, 100, and 200. I'd love you all to pieces.

Okay, time to go home...thank goodness!
