TV Musings

May 17, 2007 10:10

The TV sitcom season is winding down. For those of you who share my love of certain sitcoms, you'll be sad to hear this.

HEROES
Next Monday is the Season Finale of Hereos. The epic battle must commence. I'll be glued to the tv during that hour of night. Instead of my usual routine of watching WWE Raw and DVRing Heroes, it'll be the other way around for that day. I'm not exactly sure how they are going to end this first season, but you can bet it's going to be a cliffhanger. You know, I never put one and one together, but Heroes is almost like an adult XMEN.
Woverine = Claire (can regenerate, but can die if sharp object goes through skull)
Shadow Cat = DL (can walk through walls)
Prof. X = Matt (can read minds)
Mystique = Candice (make people see what she wants)
Rogue = Peter/Syler (absorbs all powers, then keeps them)
Archangel = Nathan (can fly)
Gambit = Ted (thermal reactions in hands)(dead)

HOUSE, M.D.
Next Tuesday is the season finale of House. This is a show that I'm really going to miss. I've seen every episode. Currently, the storyline has Foreman leaving the team, because he doesn't want to turn into House. But I can't ever imagine the team split up. It's worked so well in the past. Cameron and Chase I believe are still once and awhile sleeping with each other. It provides a good tension between the characters. I can't wait for the finale.

Thanks to the TV channel Spike for bringing back one of my favorite all-time shows for reruns. Startrek: Voyager is back. It's currently running towards the end of the series. I know this because they just killed the Borg Queen and ended up in Alpha Quadarant. I definitely missed the episode however, where Chatokay and 7 of 9 become lovers. WTF..I can't believe that.

Also coming back on June 17, 2007 is the 5th Season of The Dead Zone, and the 4th season of The 4400. I don't think they are going to be full seasons though like in previous years. It's good timing on USA's part because all the other sitcoms and dramas will be over, and there is nothing to watch. So, instead of watching tv Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, my tv viewings will switch to Sunday, Monday, and Friday. Lol...oh well.

I'm also excited because I have a surplus in funds this month, so I'm going to go and either pick up the 1st Season of Farscape or StarTrek: Voyager. Or maybe both. ;)
