Not Sure I'm Liking This:
Okay, I found out something interesting tonight. Dale was telling me that Phil might be calling my customers in ToGo and asking how their meals went and how their service was. Granted, I guess that is one way to get feedback on our services, but I think he is calling them late like past 9pm.
I mean, I'm really bothered by this. Yes, as part of the information stage, we have to gather a phone number. There are two reasons for this...1) If you're late, we're going to call you and find out if you still want the food and 2) In case we run out of something, we have to call and see what you would like instead. I don't like the idea of people giving me their personal cell phone numbers and Phil calling them after 9pm to see how their experience went. It almost constitutes a telemarketing call, which are now illegal in PA. Because one, the people don't know we are using their phone numbers for that purpose.
I think there is a better way to do that. Hmm, maybe I'll talk with Ryan tonight and then ask Phil about it after the host meeting tomorrow afternoon. I don't want to jump down Phil's throat and then be totally wrong. (Currently talking to Ryan now...he really has no idea...hmm, now do I dare ask phil about it?) I mean, come on. I'm a psych major. I know how to survey people and the right way on how to do it. This is not the right way. Utilize me and my skills for crying out loud!!
