Dose of Manly Men
I love coming home from a bar reaking of smoke. *rolls eyes* First thing I did was strip and got into my pjs, and squirt my body spray in my hair. It was only after that would Ayla come anywhere near me.
Anyways, I met Bill and JD up at the Fox and Hound for Summer Slam on the big screens. I threw back two Captain and Cokes before the event even started. But you have to get there early just to get a table. Once it started, it was just guys yelling at the tvs during the matches. I liked it. Kinda reminds me of when I watch it in the comfort of my own home. I think I would of been alright if it wasn't for Bill's friend that joined us about the middle of the show and he was behind us. He kept blowing smoke at the back of my head.
Matches were:
Ray Mysterio vs Chavo Guerarro
Big Show vs Sabu
Ric Flair vs Mick Foley (I Quit match)
Edge vs John Cena (Edge could lose his title if he was disqualified)
The McMahons vs DX (Shawn Michaels and Triple H)
King Booker vs Batista
Hulk Hogan vs Randy Orton
Winners were:
1) Chavo after Eddie Guerarro's wife got involved and knocked Rey off the top rope. But she really didn't want either one of them winning because they are family, and she slapped Chavo on the face pretty hard.
2) Big Show...this guy is huge and even though Sabu is suicidal, he wasn't much against the giant. Though, Big Show did end up going through a table at least once.
3) Ric but only because Milena (Johnny Nitro's girl and Mick's friend) got involved and put herself in front of the bat of barbed wire and Mick said "I quit" to save her. ]
4) Edge but only because Leta slipped him a pair of brass knuckles and he knocked out Cena without the ref seeing him with the knuckles. I wasn't too happy about the outcome of this match.
5) DX. But the McMahons threw everyone at them even before the bell rang to start the match. DX had to get rid of the Spirit Squad (5 guys), Mr. Kennedy, Lord Regal, the Irish guy who I can't think of right now, and the Big Show. They were kinda standing after that pummeling. They fought back but then Umaga came out and Samoan Spiked both of them. But Kane came out and saved DX from further pummeling by Umaga and got rid of him. Shawn came to HHH's rescue right when Shane about to smack him with a garbage can with some sweet chin music.
6) King Booker but because he was disqualified and yet he got to keep his title. That's the way it works I guess. King Booker won't have it much longer though.
7) Hulk Hogan. Come on, do you really think they would let some guy beat him and kill Hulkamania even if that guy loves Hulk's daughter.
We had a lot of fun and the next pay-pew-event is on September 17. This might have to be a normal outing for me. I got to see my guys that I love. Next Sunday, all those guys that wrestled tonight will be coming to Erie for two hours. I wish I had the money to go and see them and get backstage passes. They normally go to Outback after their show, but since Outback closes early that day, they all might come out beforehand. But that puts it in the middle of dinner hour, and they aren't too keen on having that many people around.
So that was my adventure and social life tonight. I won't have anymore of those for a bit.
