Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
Yes, it snowed up here in Erie. Actually I was up at 8:30am and I saw it snowing then. Aren't you proud of me, and no I didn't have to be up til 10am.
Here, shortly since I'm back in my apartment, I'm going to be watching The Day After Tomorrow. Which is sort of perfect for today anyways, since tomorrow is Black Friday. Everyone who has ever worked retail or restaurant knows what that means. And for all you crazy old people out there, the stores aren't going to open up any earlier than what they said, so why line up at 5am? Geesh, good thing the bus takes me right to Outback tomorrow. Bad thing is that on Saturday which is sometimes even worse than Black Friday, I have to cut through the mall to get to Outback.
I saved my clarinets tonight. They were dying a slow death. Let me explain. I orginially did not take them with me when I moved. Which means they got left behind in my old room. Not really a problem, until last Tuesday. I happen to go upstairs to my bedroom and the temp was 42 degrees. My poor plastic and wooden clarinets. Mom shut off the heat to the upstairs because logically, there is no one living up there anymore, so why spend the extra money to heat the upstairs. I rescued both of them tonight, and brought them here to my nice warm apartment where they will live out their lives respectively. Actually, I might even pick them up and start playing again. Though it will have to be the middle of the afternoon when my upstairs neighbor is not home. Yay for me being the hero though today.
Finally, my mother's computer is really pissing me off. I'm glad that I have my DSL connection. For her to install the new Service Pack 2 from Microsoft, it takes 6 hours on a measely dialup connection. (Took me 45 minutes) So, I started that today for her. Well she just called me to tell me that it failed to download. Oh wait, now it's back to downloading where it left off. Which means, enough of a disruption in SurfErie caused her computer to cancel the upgrade. Way to go SurfErie. I told her that it was going to take a while and be a pain in the neck.
Going to watch the movie now. Be on laterz.
