Since I'm waiting for the gym to open and don't have much I can do, I figured I'd update and let y'all know what's goin on in the life of me.

I had my 20th birthday about a week ago, and I still don't feel 20. I feel like I keep getting older but I don't feel any older. And I think that's pretty cool. I was in my CPR renewal class and the instructor thought I was 14. Sometimes I can pass for a senior in college, or in some cases a grad student, but some people think I'm still in high school. Weird.
In any case, it kind of sucked because I didn't hear from that many people. I figured with facebook and everything people would send me wall messages or whatever, but only my closest friends really made an effort to contact me. A couple cool people used facebook, but I now certainly know who my real friends are. Plus, my birthdays are always depressing.

Frank came from the 5th to the 9th. It was wonderful. We had quite the adventure at our first hotel (we booked a room someplace else since he decided to come an extra night). It was in the middle of Chinatown and was absolutely awful. I barely slept all night. But on Thursday we moved to the Standard which was amazing! The shower was like a glass box. The room was pretty sweet. And the Standard's club is awesome. Anyone who comes to LA looking for nightlife should definitely check out the Standard. I rented a limo for my party on Thursday and we cruised around the town. We went to Saddle Ranch and I rode the bull (see facebook picture), but Katie B got kicked out for using her fake. Bummer! So we rode the bull and booked it back to the limo. After In-n-Out and a 30-pack of beer, we returned to the Standard at 1. Awesome weekend, but it sucked having to say goodbye to Frank on my birthday. At least KTB was with me to take me out to brunch. :)

School's going really well. I'm completely swamped with work right now. I spent over 6 hours of my Friday afternoon working on a dietary analysis for my EXSC class. It's a great class, but this is an insane amount of work. Plus the prof keeps e-mailing us to tell us that he wants something added or has a change to the guidelines. Kinda crappy. I have a 12-page OT paper to start, a scrapbook to start (and finish) for my other OT class, a philosophy paper to write, and a presentation to make. Forget that though. My mom flies in today at 11:30 and I have to get to the gym before our grand shopping spree!

That's my super-quick update. I will update about my summer plans at a later date.
