Fengshui Observations: MBS vs RWS

Aug 14, 2011 21:43

I have come to the conclusion that the fengshui setup at RWS is less potent than MBS'.
Just look at the tables on the main gaming deck.

RWS features "wood-based" birdcage-designs overhead,
perhaps taking a cue from their chinese brothers in Lisboa, Macau.

MBS goes one up by using "metal-based" crowns.
Doesn't it remind you of the headband used
to control the mythical monkey god, Sun Wu Kong?

Both casinos features gigantic fountains and water features.
However, RWS' ones are running only on the ground floor while
its casino is located within the basement.

If you drive or take a taxi in, you will bypass the water features altogether
and enter directly via the driveway entrance.

For MBS, there is no way to avoid passing by the fountains.
They are integrated with the building design from Level 1 through to Basement 2.

With the casino segment in the centre,
it is flanked by 'active' and 'passive' water flowing through the building on each side.

Oh and avoid the coffee offered at MBS.
It's super strong and the caffeine within pushes gambles to take on higher risks.
