Stargate Rec (Jack/Daniel)
If you read even a little bit of Stargate fiction, you probably noticed that Stargate writers like to see Daniel suffer. Then they throw in an OOC Jack who pets him on the head and takes his temperature, and call it hurt/comfort.
Now, if you are going to write h/c, do it right.
Like Darcy, for example.

Burden of Command
Jack and Daniel are caught in an alien trap, and Jack has to watch how Daniel slowly dies. Though it is Daniel who suffers, it seems to be Jack who needs the comfort.
Of course there are some cliches, but I was amazed how well the scenes in the trap were written. And it is one of the few h/c fics I read that doesn't turn Daniel into a snivelling, helpless child.
